Baby’s Favorite Smoothie

I gave my daughter this when she started to get into solid foods. She LOVED it. It’s simple and delicious enough to be a mommy and me smoothie that you can split. It has lots of nutrition and healthy fats. For babies, I would recommend making it with water (still tastes just as good) and if your child can’t tolerate nut butters or hasn’t tried it yet, use avocado instead.


1 handful of spinach

1 banana

1 cup of mixed frozen berries

1 tbs of flax seed meal

1-2 tbs of almond butter

1 1/2 cups of almond milk, milk of your choice or water

Throw all ingredients into your favorite blender and blend until smooth. You may need to add more liquid if needed.

Works great in homemade squeeze pouches!
